PRAYER in W.P.No.5410/17: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of mandamus to direct the respondent herein to process the petitioner's application seeking educational loan for a sum of Rs.2,60,000/- made on 17.08.2015 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

PRAYER in W.P.No.5411/17: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of mandamus to direct the respondent herein to process the petitioner's application seeking educational loan for a sum of Rs.1,09,255/- made on 10.11.2015 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

C O M M O N O R D E R Both these writ petitions are filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Bank to process the petitioner's application seeking educational loan.

2.Today after notice, both the writ petitions are taken up https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and the learned counsel for the respondent Bank submitted that the petitioners have not filed their respective applications in the prescribed format by enclosing the necessary documents. Therefore, he submitted that once such application is filed, it will be considered on its own merits.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners would make fresh application in the prescribed format by enclosing necessary documents.

4.Needless to say that if the petitioners file their applications in the prescribed format by enclosing necessary documents, it is for the respondent Bank to consider and pass appropriate orders without loss of further time. Accordingly, these writ petitions are disposed of, by granting liberty to the respective petitioners to file fresh applications seeking for educational loan in the prescribed format by enclosing necessary documents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of copy of the same, the respondent Bank will consider the same and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter. No costs.
