ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Cr.No.10 of 2022 pending on the file of the first respondent herein.

2. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Government Counsel (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the first respondent on instructions submitted that the charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VII, Coimbatore and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.6733 of 2025. He further submitted that the next date of hearing of the case is on 12.08.2026.

3. In reply, Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that this is the third round of petition before this Court and whenever the subject matter came before this Court, it is represented on behalf of the respondent police that charge sheet was filed however, when the petitioners filed copy

application, the same was returned on the ground that no final report was filed by the respondent police. He also contended that action should be taken against the respondent police for furnishing erroneous information before this Court.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, it is seen that now charge sheet was filed in this matter before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VII, Coimbatore and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.6733 of 2025 and the next date of hearing of the case is fixed on 12.08.2026 and in view of the same, the matter does not require any further enquiry by this Court. This Court directs the petitioners to appear on the date of hearing before the Court concerned and the Court will furnish the copy of the charge sheet to them.

5. In view thereof and recording the submissions of the learned Government Counsel, keeping open the liberty of the petitioners to agitate their grievance, if any, after receipt of the charge sheet in the manner known to law, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
