O R D E R
The petitioner has raised several grounds stating that he was liable to be promoted to the post of Sub-Inspector of Police in the selection held in the year 2004. The order impugned in the present Writ Petition is the appointment orders of three Head Constables namely HC 202, HC 240 and HC 263.
2. It is seen that the appointments of these three Constables was made in the year 2004 who have also, apparently, retired from their services and as such, quashing of their services at this belated stage, may not be proper. Since the petitioner also has retired, no effective orders can be passed in the present Writ Petition.
3. Accordingly, the present Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
