Contempt petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to punish the respondents for having committed contempt by willful disobedience of the order of this Court made in WP.No.4951 of 2024 dated 28.02.2024.

ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondents for having committed contempt by willful disobedience of the order of this Court made in WP.No.4951 of 2024 dated 28.02.2024, thereby the first respondent was directed to revise the petitioner's pension as per the order passed in WP.No.11502 of 2022 dated 30.05.2019 by this Court and to disburse the benefits within a time frame.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent produced letter dated 02.11.2024 of the first respondent, before this Court, and submitted that the order passed by this Court in WP.No.4951 of 2024 dated 28.02.2024 has been complied with by the aforesaid letter dated 02.11.2024.

3. In view of the aforesaid letter dated 02.11.2024, this contempt petition is closed.
