ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give permission to conduct the cultural programme on 25.02.2021 in the event of Sri Pudur Pon Mariamman Koil of Palacode Post, Dharmapuri District 636 808, on the petitioner's representation dated 1.02.2021.

2.Heard Mr.M.Selvam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondents.

3.In the considered view of this Court, during the present pandemic situation, it is better to avoid any congregations. This Court has been consistently passing such orders and this Court does not want to create an exception in this case.

4.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
