The Contempt Petition has been filed alleging non-compliance with the direction issued by this Court on 12.04.2024. Dr.G.JAYACHANDRAN , J.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police had filed an affidavit stating that the complaint of the petitioner was registered in Crime No.50 of 2025, taken up for investigation and subsequently closed as 'Mistake of Facts'. A Referred Charge Sheet Notice was issued to the complainant and he has acknowledged the same. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Sirkazhi had summoned the defacto complainant to appear on 30.06.2025 and on his appearance, matter was adjourned to 14.07.2025. 3.

In view of the action taken pursuant to the directions of this Court, this Contempt Petition stands closed. However, it is open to the defacto complainant to agitate the matter before the Judicial Magistrate in the RCS proceedings.
