Contempt petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in WP.No.25206 of 2023 dated 28.08.2023 as per the Contempt of Court Act.

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in WP.No.25206 of 2023 dated 28.08.2023 as per the Contempt of Court Act, thereby the respondents therein were directed to pay interest for the retirement benefits paid to the petitioner and to disburse terminal benefits within a time frame.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent produced letter dated 15.04.2025 of the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation(Salem) Ltd, before this Court, and submitted that the order passed by this Court in WP.No.25206 of 2023 dated 28.08.2023 has been complied with by the aforesaid letter dated 15.04.2025.

3. In view of the aforesaid letter dated 15.04.2025, this contempt petition is closed.
