The petitioner/A2 apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 148,448,294(b) and 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.318 of 2016 and seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused is alleged to have engaged 30 persons to the house of the defacto complainant and they threatened him with dire consequences.

Hence the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.Heard the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the fact that none was injured, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.

(i) The petitioner shall, within 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of the order, appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur and shall executing a bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) each with two sureties for the like sum to the satisfaction of the said Magistrate or to the satisfaction of the investigating officer;

(ii) For the purpose of interrogation, the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required.

(iii) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any Police Officer.
