The Contempt Petition has been filed alleging violation of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.19514 of 2021, dated 15.09.2021.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned standing counsel that the order passed in W.P.No.19514 of 2021, dated 15.09.2021 has been complied with. The petition filed by the petitioner was considered by the Appellate Authority and the order was passed under Memo No.87835/G.55/G.552/G171(N)/2018, dated 15.03.2023. The copy of the same also placed before this Court and duly served on the learned counsel for the petitioner.
3. In the light of the above, it cannot be stated that the respondent has violated the order passed by this Court to continue the contempt. However, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the appeal filed by the petitioner was considered and relief is granted for revision of seniority in the post of Assistant Engineer and but not in respect of further promotional posts.
4. In a considered view of this Court, the said aspect cannot be 2/4
gone into in this case. If the petitioner is not satisfied with the order dated 15.03.2023 or of the view that he is entitled to any further benefits, it is always open to the petitioner to make appropriate application to the concerned authorities.
