[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.,] (1)The CRIMINAL APPEAL IS ALLOWED and the conviction and sentence imposed against the appellant/A1, viz., Chinnasamy, by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tirupur, in SC.No.19 of 2016 vide judgment dated 12.12.2017 are set aside and he is acquitted of all charges levelled against him.

(2)It is reported that the appellant/A1 is in jail, viz., the Central Prison, Coimbatore. He is directed to be released forthwith unless his presence/custody is required in connection with any other case/proceedings.
