The contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondents for willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 31.07.2023 passed in W.P.No.21659 of 2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the documents placed on record.

3. Earlier this Court has closed the present Contempt Petition on 24.06.2024 and thereafter, re-opened it. Now, it is the contention of the petitioner that his representation has not been considered. The grievance of the petitioner is that he should be promoted only by way of direct promotion, however, the learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that representation was considered and communication was also sent and stated that promotion will be considered, however, there cannot be any time limit. In such view of the matter, this Court is of the view that the petitioner by merely giving a representation to consider his case, cannot improve his case stage by stage. Hence I do not find any merits in the present contempt petition and the same stands closed.
