ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for further investigation in Cr.No.1817 of 2020 under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police, Dharmapuri District.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that final report has already been filed for offence under Section 306 IPC and the same has been taken on file and it is pending in S.C.No.111 of 2022 before the Mahila Court, Dharmapuri. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that charges have been framed and the case is now posted on 17.07.2023 for commencement of trial. 3.

In the considered view of this Court, there is no scope for ordering for any further investigation at this stage. It is left open to the trial Court to proceed further with the trial in accordance with law and complete the proceedings as expeditiously as possible.
