C O M M O N O R D E R These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the first respondent to fix the pay of the petitioners in the time scale of Rs.15,70050,000/- (pre revised scale of pay of Rs.4,800 - 10,000 + G.P.Rs.1,300/-), on par with regular sweepers working under his control, by applying the Principle of Equal Pay for Equal Work and in the light of G.O.MS.No.50 School Education (Pa.Ka.4(f)) Department dated 08.03.2019 with all consequential service and monetary benefits. 2.

On behalf of the respondents, counter affidavit has been filed. 3.

Heard, the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

During the course of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that petitioners are confining to restrict their relief to direct the first respondent to consider their representations dated 28.12.2019. 5.

As the petitioners themselves are restricting the relief sought to an extent of consideration of the representations dated 28.12.2019 subjected to the first 4/6

respondent, in my considered view, it is appropriate to dispose of these writ petitions with a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law on the representations made on 28.12.2019 of the petitioners to meet the interest of justice.

Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are disposed of, directing the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representations dated 28.12.2019 submitted by the petitioners by following due process of law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 7.

There shall be no order as to costs.
