..Respondent Prayer:- This Writ Petition is filed, under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order of the respondent passed in Na.Ka.No.8237/07/EM dated 21.10.2009 and the impugned order of the respondent passed in Rc.No.8237/07/EM dated 20.2.2008 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to allow the petitioner to retire on 31.5.2010 with all monetary and attendant benefits. ORDER

The writ petition is filed challenging the impugned orders of the respondent dated 21.10.2009 and 20.2.2008, whereby, the petitioner, who was placed under suspension by the original authority stood confirmed by the appellate authority.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent filed counter affidavit and reiterated his submissions based on the averments made therein. It is stated that on completion of disciplinary proceedings against the writ petitioner, he was dismissed from service on 31.05.2011.

3. In view of the subsequent developments, the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
