On 06.09.2022, when the Writ Petition was taken up for hearing, it was 1/3
reported by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the Writ Petition had become infructuous in view of the filing of W.P.No.2946 of 2023 against Complaint No.2 of 2013. It was further stated that the Industrial Tribunal, Chennai passed order in favour of the respondent directing the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- on 24.06.2022 in the said complaint. Today, When the matter is taken up for hearing, on instructions, the learned counsel submits that in view of the order passed in complaint No.2 of 2013, the award passed in C.P.No.113 of 2014 has become infructuous and the consequential challenge to the same in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous.
2. The learned counsel further submits that the Writ Petition challenging the order passed in Complaint No.2 of 2013 in W.P.No.2946 of 2023 is pending before this Court. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
