ORDER

Ms.Keerthana Shenoi, learned Counsel on behalf of Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for R1 and R2 and is armed with instructions to proceed with the matter https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

finally. In view of the order that is proposed to be passed in this Writ Petition, no notice is thought necessary to R3. Hence, by consent of learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for R1 and R2, this Writ Petition is disposed finally even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner seeks mandamus directing R1 and R2 to forthwith grant electricity service connection to the petitioner's residential house at No.1/546, Krishna Nagar, Periyar Salai, Near Electricity Board Office, Manapakkam, Kancheepuram District - 600 115.

3. Ms.Keerthana will assure the Court that electricity connection be provided to the petitioner within a week from today seeing as the indemnity bond has been provided by the petitioner as per Regulation 27(4) of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Code, 2004 which would override the objections made by the land owner.

4. Recording the aforesaid, this Writ Petition is disposed. No costs.
