Both the counsels are armed with instructions to proceed with the matter finally. 2. The petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus directing R1 to consider and dispose petitioner's application dated 09.04.2021 for issuance of passport in line with explanation submitted by him on 25.04.2021.
3. Mr.Kaushik would accede to the position that the petitioner's application and explanation dated 25.04.2021 have been duly received and that the application is pending. He would assure the Court that the same will be considered and an order passed within a period of four (4) weeks from today after hearing the petitioner.
4. This Writ Petition is disposed directing R1 to dispose the application of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and all applicable Rules and Regulations within a period of four (4) weeks from today, after hearing the petitioner in the event the respondent is not inclined to issue the passport as sought for by the petitioner.
