Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, direct the Respondents herein, to award pay protection in the category of B.T. Grade Middle School Head Master with effect from the date of absorption 08.07.1974 to the date of retirement 30.09.2000 in the light of the Government Letter issued by Special Commissioner and Secretary to the Government, School Education Department in Government Letter No.76967/ M1/ 88 dated 15.06.1988 and award Special Grade B.T. Middle School Head Master Pay scale w.e.f. 01.06.1988 to 30.09.2000 and the consequential benefits including revision of pension.

When the matter was listed for hearing on 22.11.2022, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 24.11.2022 under the caption "For Dismissal".
2. Again, when the matter was called on 24.11.2022, there was also no representation on behalf of the petitioner. In order to give one more opportunity, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list this matter once again under the caption "For Dismissal" on 28.11.2022.
3. Even today also i.e on 28.11.2022, when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the writ petitioner. Thus, it is evident that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, the Writ Petition in W.P.No.13683 of 2016 stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
