Consistently, there is no representation for the petitioner. When the writ petition was listed for hearing on 07.10.2020, there was no representation for the petitioner, hence, the matter was adjourned to 04.11.2020. On 04.11.2020 also, none appeared for the petitioner, hence, the Registry was directed to list the matter "for dismissal" on 27.11.2020. Thereafter, the matter came up before this Court on 03.12.2020, on which date, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought adjournment and the case was adjourned to 07.12.2020, under the caption "for dismissal." Though the matter has been listed today under the caption "for dismissal", the learned counsel for the petitioner is not present and hence, this Court has no other option, except to dismiss the Writ Petition for non-prosecution. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
