Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent and fourth respondent to conduct enquiry pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2021 and to rectify the mistake as to the Guideline Value and Classification of the petitioner's land in all official records of the fourth respondent and upload the corrected version in the Government web site of Registration department and in the Guideline value books of the fourth respondent with regard to the petitioner's lands in Survey Number 33 / 15 Part (Sub - Division Survey Numbers 33 / 15A and 33 / 15B of Thirunindravur - A Village, Avadi Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 3 and 4 to conduct enquiry pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2021 and to rectify the mistake as to the Guideline Value and Classification of the petitioner's land in all official records of the fourth respondent and upload the corrected version in the Government web site of Registration department and in the Guideline value books of the fourth respondent with regard to the petitioner's lands in Survey Number 33 / 15 Part (Sub - Division Survey Numbers 33 / 15A and 33 / 15B) of Thirunindravur - A Village, Avadi Taluk, Thiruvallur District.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the subject property and when he verified the guideline value of the lands, he came to know that the value of his lands in Survey Nos.33/15A and 33/15B is '0' and is classified as 'Road'. Hence, he made representation dated 20.08.2021 to the respondents 3 and 4 seeking to rectify the mistake as to the Guideline Value and Classification of the petitioner's land in all official records of the fourth respondent and upload the corrected version in the Government web site of Registration department and in the Guideline value books of the fourth respondent and since there was no response, has filed this writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4.The grievance of the petitioner is that there is mistake as to the Guideline Value and Classification of the petitioner's land. However, the respondents have no power to rectify the same. It is for the appropriate Revenue Authority to rectify if there is any mistake. 5.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
