Writ petition No.10346 of 2010 filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Prohibition, forbearing the respondents from in any manner interfering with the possession of the petitioner in respect of Door No.1, Kakkan Street, Tambaram West, Chennai-45 and Door No.115, Mudichur Road, Tambaram, Chennai-45.

Writ petition No.10347 of 2010 filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Prohibition, forbearing the respondents from in any manner interfering with the possession of the petitioner in respect of Door No.190, Mudichur Road, Tambaram, Chennai-45. The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petitions to issue a Writ of Prohibition forbearing the respondents from in any manner interfering with the possession of the petitioners in respect of Door No.1, Kakkan Street, Tambaram West, Chennai-45 and Door No.115, Mudichur Road, Tambaram, Chennai-45 and also in respect of Door No.190, Mudichur Road, Tambaram, Chennai-45.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that the respondents are trying to dispossess them from the above mentioned properties and therefore, they should be restrained from doing so.

3. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that adjacent lands were acquired for construction of railway overbridge and the railway overbridge was also constructed long ago without disturbing the petitioners' land.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, I do not find any reason to keep the writ petitions pending. Accordingly, the writ petitions are closed.
