..Respondents in both the petitions PRAYERS: Writ Petitions, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioners to join duty as Laboratory Assistants in accordance with the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.K3/47537/99, dated 11.12.2003 without prejudice to the O.A.Nos.4147 and 4148 of 2003 pending before the Hon'ble Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal Chennai. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Malaichamy (in both the petitions) For Respondents : Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, AGP (in both the petitions) C O M M O N O R D E R The prayer in these Writ Petitions is for a direction to the respondents to permit the petitioners to join duty as Laboratory Assistants, pursuant to the order of the second respondent dated 11.12.2003.

2. Pending the Writ Petitions, this Court by an interim order, dated 22.09.2004, directed the second respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

permit the petitioners to work in the post of Laboratory Assistant. In pursuance of the interim order of this Court, the petitioners also continued to work as Lab Assistants. As such, the prayer sought for in the these Writ Petitions have become infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Petitions stand closed. No cots. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
