ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2023 sent for rectifying the mistake occurred during UDR Scheme, in respect of the lands measuring 1.28.5 hectares and 0.02.5 hectares in S.F.Nos.1170/1 and 1170/2 respectively, situated at Kamanthotti Village, Soolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2023 within the time as may be fixed by this Court.

3. The respondents have filed counter in which it is stated that already the 3rd respondent has conducted enquiry on the representation of the petitioner and also sent a report to the 1st respondent who is the 2/5

competent authority to pass orders, vide Na.Ka.No.2426/2024/A1 dated 21.02.2024.

4. Since the 3rd respondent has already sent a report to the 1st respondent and this Writ Petition is filed seeking a simple writ of mandamus to consider the representation, this Court, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2023 and pass final order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
