PRAYER: This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records in detention order passed in No.1291/BCDFGISSSV/2024 dated 28.12.2024 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioners father of detenu Thiru.NAGARAJ @ MC.NAGARAJ, S/O.Mukundan, M/A 43 years now confined in Central prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Honble court and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.620, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 07.02.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
