ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.P.Dhineshkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader (i/c) for respondent No.1 and Mr.K.Magesh, learned counsel for respondent No.2.

2. The prayer of the petitioner is that directions be issued to respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to take appropriate action for removal of the encroachment made by erecting temporary structure styled as place of worship under the name of 'Karumariamman Temple' located in Bharathi Road, Sastha Nagar, Kumarapalayam Post, Coimbatore-26. The said structure, according to the petitioner, is situated in front of Door No.36.

3. The learned counsel for respondent No.2/Coimbatore Corporation stated that the encroachment has been removed.

4. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for respondent No.2, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition and the writ petition is closed. No costs.
