Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the entire records of the first respondent in pursuance of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1958 of 2004 dated 24.12.2004, 23.07.2007, 03.07.2008 and 16.09.2008, quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to refund the amount already collected from the petitioner towards lease amount.

When this writ petition was taken up, the learned Additional Govt.Pleader appearing for the respondents has produced a copy of the proceedings of the District Collector, The Nilgiris District, in Na.Ka.U1.No.26398/2008 dated 10.05.2018, by which the lease in question itself has been cancelled. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Recording the above, the writ petition stands closed, however granting liberty to the writ petitioner to approach the authorities for any other claims, relating to the subject matter. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
