This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pass orders on the representations made by the petitioner on 03.12.2018 and 27.02.2019 wherein the petitioner has sought for revision of scale of pay.
2.The case of the petitioner is that she was appointed as a Middle School Teacher and she reached the age of superannuation in the year 2000. According to the petitioner,
she is entitled to get selection grade scale of pay of Rs.1640-29000/2000-3200 w.e.f. 01.03.1988 as per the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.216 Finance (PC) Department, dated 22.03.1993.
3.The petitioner has given a representation in this regard to the respondents and since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions. 4.Heard Mr.L.Chandrakumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mrs.V.Annalakshmi, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the Full Bench of this Court has already issued direction in this regard in Rev.App.No.227 of 2015 of batch, dated 09.12.2016 and the Government has also passed an order in G.O.Ms.No.90, dated 09.05.2018, there shall be a direction to the 1st & 2nd respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioner on 03.12.2018 and 27.02.
2019 and pass appropriate orders in line with the above Full Bench judgment and the Government order, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 1st & 2nd respondent along with a copy of the representations dated 03.12.2018 and 27.02.2019 and a copy of this order.
6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
