ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus seeking a direction to the 1st respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Chidambaram, Cuddalore District to dispose of the representation dated 11.11.2022.

2. By the said representation, the petitioner sought Death Certificate of his grandfather, Thiruvarasa Padyachi, son of Kumarasamy. He died on 22.01.1993 at Vennaiyur Village, Kattumannar Koil Taluk,

A direction is given to the petitioner to give a fresh application, in proper manner to the 2nd respondent/Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Kattumannar Koil, Cuddalore District and give necessary details and the Tahsildar may enquire the factum of the death of the grandfather of the petitioner and make further enquiries and thereafter, forward a report to the 1st respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer at Chidambaram, Cuddalore District and necessary action may be taken in accordance with the enquiry.

4. To conduct enquiry and to pass final orders, eight weeks' time is granted.

5. A copy of this order may also be forwarded along with a fresh application by the petitioner to the 2nd respondent/Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Kattumannarkoil, Cuddalore District.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed accordingly. No order as to costs.
