PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to ensure safety, security, life and liberty and property of the petitioners by taking appropriate action on petitioner's complaints/representations dated 28.02.2019, 17.03.2023, 10.04.2023, 18.10.2023 and 05.01.2024 from the threat perception caused by the respondents 4 to 6 or their henchman who are trying to take physical possession of the property by engaging goons pending the suit for partition is pending in O.S.No. 261 of 2018 before the Principal District Court, Namakkal.

This writ petition has been filed seeking for police protection based on the complaints/representations dated 28.02.2019, 17.03.2023, 10.04.2023, 18.10.2023 and 05.01.2024 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents 1 to 3.

3.The petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint before the 3rd respondent in person along with all the relevant documents and the 3rd respondent shall act upon the same and conduct an enquiry and take a final decision, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the complaint from the petitioner. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
