O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct respondents 2 to 4 not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there was financial transaction between the petitioner and the complainant Savithri Murugan, which is purely civil in nature. Despite the civil dispute, the complainant lodged a Police complaint vide CSR No.1165 of 2023 with an intention to harass the petitioner. Under the guise of investigation, the petitioner is repeatedly being called by the respondents-Police, which is unfair and hence, this petition is filed for the prayer stated supra.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents-Police submitted that already the complaint was closed, as the allegations levelled against the petitioner are of civil in nature. He further submitted that the de-facto complainant once again forwarded the 2/4

complaint to the Superintendent of Police,Chennai and the said the complaint was closed, as civil dispute is pending between the parties and therefore, the respondents-Police had not harassed the petitioner. 4.In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
