Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records leading to the issue of proceedings bearing No.178, Higher Education (E2) Department dated 22.06.2016 and proceedings bearing No.534/E2/2008-2, Higher Education (E2) Department dated 01.08.2008 on the file of the first respondent and letter No.Na.Ka.No.8048/A1/2006 dated 02.03.2007 on the file of the fourth respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents 1 to 4 herein to pay the petitioner his arrears of salary due for the period from 03.08.2000 to 30.06.2004 amounting to Rs.12,03,661/- with 24% interest per annum and pass suitable orders.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions submitted that the petitioner has received all the retirement benefits, including arrears of salary, due to him and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. In support of his submission, he has produced a letter, dated 19.11.2018 addressed to him by the petitioner.

2. Recording the same, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
