ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 26.09.2022 passed by the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.1085-2022-A3 and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter is posted, Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that the cheque signing power has been taken, since, the petitioner being a VicePresident has shown discrimination to person who is the President of the Panchayat, besides, he is also not co-operating with the the President. The petitioner shall file an affidavit of undertaking before the District Collector/first respondent indicating that he will co-operate with the President and act for smooth functioning of the affairs of the Panchayat, then, the cheque signing power will be restored to the petitioner. Such submission is recorded.

3. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to file an affidavit of undertaking before the District Collector / first respondent indicating that he will co-operate with the President of the Panchayat and sign the cheque. On such affidavit being filed before the District Collector, the cheque signing 2/4

power will be restored. It is also made clear that every cheque shall be supported by necessary vouchers and bills.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
