name of the petitioner in the appropriate place in the temporary list of Deputy Collectors for the year 2009-2010 as approved and issued in G.O.(Ms).No.104, Revenue (Ser 1) Department, dated 02.03.2010 and to recruit the petitioner by recruitment by transfer as Deputy Collector for the year 2009-2010 with retrospective effect from the date of such recruitment of his immediate junior with all consequential service and monetary benefits.

ORDER

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the relief prayed for in the Writ Petition no longer survives and the Writ Petition may be dismissed as having become infructuous. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, M.P.No.2 of 2010 is closed.
