This petition has been filed to call for the records of the Crime No.1141 of 2017 on the file of Respondent herein and quash the entire proceedings thereon.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the respondent Police had completed the investigation and filed final report before Judicial Magistrate I, Poonamallee and it is pending for taking cognizance.

3. Considering the above submission, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. The Judicial Magistrate I, Poonamallee is directed to take cognizance in Crime No.1141 of 2017, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
