Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents and their subordinates from in any manner demolishing the petitioner's residential house bearing Door No.3/29-A9, Seramittampalayam and comprised in S.No.71, Thevanankurinchi Village, Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District and evicting them from the said land and house without following the procedure as contemplated under the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 and under Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1975 and direct the third respondent, the District Collector, Namakkal District to issue patta to the petitioner considering his long possession and enjoyment of the said land.
