Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records and papers from the files of the first respondent in I.D.No.15 of 2008 and quash the common award made therein dated 08.04.2011 insofar as the first respondent has rejected the claim of the petitioner Union.

When the matter was taken up today, the learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that the petitioner's Union represents the workmen has filed this writ petition challenging the transfer orders issued by the second respondent have either retired from service or went on voluntarily retirement or died.

Since the relief sought by making the allegations that the transfer orders issued to the workmen are illegal, the writ petition itself becomes infructuous.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
