PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the first respondent relating to Pro.Na.Ka.No.AB1/66904/07 dated 16.06.2007 (signed on 19.06.2008), quash the same and issue consequential directions to the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioner with effect from 27.03.1982 and to accordingly refix his seniority by placing him over and above the fourth respondent herein and to consequently include his name in the appropriate place in the ensuing panel for promotion as Forest Rangers for the year 2008-2009 and to accordingly promote him as Forest Ranger with all consequential benefits. ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner is in connection with the non-inclusion of his name in the promotional panel for the year 2008-2009 for the post of Forest Range Officer. 2.Pending the writ petition, the petitioner was included in the promotional panel for the year 2008-2009 and was promoted on 30.10.2008 and subsequently retired on 30.06.2011, after reaching the age of superannuation.

3.The grievance of the petitioner, since having been met, no effective effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
