ORDER
This case is taken up through video conferencing.
2. This criminal original petition has been filed seeking for a permission to the petitioner to file protest petition in Crime No.853 of 2013.
3. Heard Mr.A.P.Satyamurthy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Kritika Kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.
4. On the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent Police registered a case in Crime No.853 of 2013 for offence under Sections 417, 506(i) IPC against the wife and in-laws of the petitioner. After completing the investigation, the Police filed a closure report. Though sufficient opportunities were 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
granted to the petitioner for protest application, he had failed to do so and therefore, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, accepted the closure report and closed the case on 25.07.2017.
5. This Court does not find any infirmity in the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
