This Criminal Original petition has been filed by the petitioner, seeking to modify the condition imposed in Crl.M.P.No.162 of 2019 vide order dated 13.11.2019. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was released on statutory bail under Section 167(2) Cr.P.C. The learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram vide order dated 13.11.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.162 of 2019, directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.1 Lakh to the credit of Crime No.565 of 2019 as one of the conditions for granting bail. He added that the petitioner is entitled to a statutory bail, but the condition imposed on him is onerous and due to his inability to comply with the condition, the petitioner continues to languish in judicial custody, accordingly, prays for appropriate modification. 3.

This Court, after careful consideration, modifies the conditions imposed by the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram, in Crl.M.P.No.162 of 2019 dated 13.11.2019, to the effect that the petitioner shall not deposit Rs.1,00,000/- to the credit of crime No.565 of 2019. The petitioner shall be released on statutory bail on executing a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of like sum and shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
