Mr. S. Thiruvengadam, learned counsel appearing for the applicant submitted that the applicant/tenant is willing to pay the enhanced rent of Rs. 10,000/- per month from 01.01.2022. However, he may be permitted to pay the monthly rent at the rate of Rs. 7,000/- from 01.01.2020 till 31.12.2021.

2. The learned Administrator General and Official Trustee has no objection for permitting the applicant/tenant to pay at the rate of Rs. 7,000/- per month as monthly rent commencing from 01.01.2020 to 31.12.2021.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the applicant and learned Administrator General and Official Trustee, the applicant is permitted to pay the arrears of rent at the rate of Rs.7,000/- 1/3

per month commencing from 01.01.2020 to 31.12.2021. It is made clear that the applicant/tenant shall pay the enhanced rent of Rs. 10,000/- commencing from 01.01.2022. The Applications are disposed of. 25.03.2022 mrn 2/3
