O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the second respondent to transfer of the electricity connection bearing connection No.1734 K.S.R. Saw Mill to petitioner name in pursuant to petitioner representation dated 12.01.2024.

2. The learned Standing Counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondent-TANGEDCO, would submit that in respect of the same property, two applications have been received by the TANGEDCO for effecting name transfer. One Mr.T.Suresh also set out the counter claim for name transfer.

3. The writ petitioner also submitted an application, seeking name transfer.

4. The counter claim is made by one Mr.T.Suresh for effecting

name transfer. The parties have to approach the Competent Civil Court of Law for the purpose of establishing their civil rights. The Electricity Authorities are incompetent to determine the title regarding immovable property.

5. That being so, the petitioner is at liberty to redress his grievances in the manner known to law.
