Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to provide police protection for conducting the temple festivals of "Arulmighu Angala Amman, Periyandichi Amman, Muthukumaran and Kamatchi Amman Temples " situate at Kadanthapatti Village, Namakkal Taluk and District scheduled to be held from 08.03.2024 to 15.03.2024 based on the representation of the petitioner dated 11.04.2024.

O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 4th respondent to provide police protection in order to enable the petitioner to conduct the temple festival at Arulmighu Angala Amman, Periyandichi Amman, Muthukumaran and Kamatchi Amman Temples to be held from 08.03.2024 to 15.03.2004 based on the representation of the petitioner dated 11.01.2024. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that there is some dispute between the two parties and therefore, the matter has been referred to the 2nd respondent to conduct
a Peace Committee Meeting and to take a decision. The relevant communication dated 18.12.2023 was also placed before this Court. 3.Taking into consideration the submissions made on either side and the materials available on record, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to call both the parties for an enquiry and to conduct Peace Committee Meeting. Based on the understanding arrived at, a decision shall be taken by the 2nd respondent on or before 19.02.2024 and the same shall be communicated to the respective parties. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
