O R D E R

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to issue a Non Traceable Certificate based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 02.09.2020 and which is pending in CSR No.289 of 2020.

2.The case of the petitioner is that her Original Sale Deed pertaining to the subject property went missing and a complaint was given to the respondent police to issue a Non Traceable Certificate. Since the same was not acted upon, the present petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3.Heard learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent Police to conduct the enquiry in CSR No.289 of 2020 and if the original document is not able to be traced, a Non Traceable Certificate shall be given to the petitioner. The entire process shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.This criminal original petition is disposed of with the above directions.
