ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for an early disposal of his appeal dated 06.05.2024 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent.

2. Aggrieved by the order of the 4th respondent, the petitioner had preferred the aforesaid appeal before the 3rd respondent. Since the said appeal has not been disposed of till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 6 to 10 in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 6 to 10 is dispensed with by this Court.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, dated 06.05.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the respondents 6 to 10 and any third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, by adhering to the principles of natural justice.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's appeal dated 06.05.2024.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, dated 06.05.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the Page No.3 of 6

respondents 6 to 10 and any third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by adhering to the principles of natural justice.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
