O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent authority to give permission to conduct the dance programme at Drowpathi Amman Kovil Thidal Arulmigu Sri Selvamuthu Mariamman Thirukovil Thiruvizha on 11.08.2018 and subsequently the petitioner representation dated 06.08.2018 at D.No.43/98, Ayyagounder Street, Valapadi Post & Taluk, Salem District. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondent on 06.08.2018 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 11.08.2018 from 06.00 to 11.00 p.m., the respondent has not passed orders till today.

3.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.

4.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2018 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law on or before 01.00 p.m. on 11.08.2018.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that he would inform the respondent about the order passed in the Writ Petition over phone immediately.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
