ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to depute a competent surveyor to conduct survey of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition and to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner for the very same property, based on the petitioner's transfer application, dated 17.12.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner has made an online application, dated 17.12.2025 seeking transfer of patta with the respondents. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. Page No.2 of 6
3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.Venkatesa Perumal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent.
4. Though the petitioner has sought for the aforesaid relief as stated in the prayer to this writ petition, however the petitioner has only made an online application for transfer of patta with the respondents. Hence, this Court is only inclined to consider the prayer seeking direction to dispose of the petitioner's online application seeking transfer of patta.
5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's online application, dated 17.12.2025 as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom the respondents deem it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's transfer application, dated 17.12.2025 seeking for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom the 2nd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
