Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th and 5th respondents to expeditiously cancel the license accorded to the 3rd and 6th respondents for running their petroleum outlet at Village No.51, James Road, Poonamallee, Chengalpattu District comprised in Survey No.111/2 and 640/2 of a total extent of 0.77 cents based on the petitioners' representation dated 04.09.2006. Earlier, when the above Writ Petition was posted for hearing on 19.11.2019, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that he has given change of vakalat and filed a memo for withdrawing his appearance. Therefore, the Registry was directed to print the name of the petitioners in the cause list.

2. Today, when the matter was called, there is no representation for petitioners. Thus, it appears that the 2/3

petitioners are not interested in prosecuting the matter further. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
