This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to file final report in Crime No.2 of 2010 before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

2.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, produced a copy of the First Information Report relating to Crime No.2 of 2009 and submitted that due to inadvertent mistake, the crime number was wrongly mentioned as Crime No.2 of 2010 instead of Crime No.2 of 2009. He also submitted that originally, the crime number was 456 of 2009 and the same was re-numbered as Crime No.2 of 2009 and as per the general direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the subject matter related cases were ordered to be transferred to the Special Court Bombay City and Civil Sessions Court, Greater Mumbai and accordingly these cases were transferred. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The said statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. It is open to the petitioners to approach the Special Court Bombay City and Civil Sessions Court, Greater Mumbai, for appropriate orders.
