O R D E R

This writ petition is filed to direct the the respondents to pay the Subsistence Allowance within the stipulated time along with the interest at the rate of 12% per annum.

2.When the matter was listed for hearing on 20.10.2023, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 30.10.2023 under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today also i.e on 30.10.2023, when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the writ petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the Subsistence Allowance with the interest at the rate of 12% per annum has already been paid to the petitioner.

4.This petition is listed under the caption "for Dismissal" today and even then none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that the cause does not survive, thereby, the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs.
