O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is for a direction to the respondents to issue salary from the month of February 2001 onwards. Since the Writ Petition is pending from 2004, it will not be appropriate to grant such a relief, which may be detrimental to the respondents also. There is no record before this Court evidencing whether such salary has been paid pending Writ Petition. As such, it would be appropriate to give liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondents ventilating his grievances.

2. In the light of the above observations, the petitioner is granted liberty to make representation to the first respondent within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the salary is not already paid and on receipt of such representation, the first respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of three months therefrom.

3. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
